A Legacy of Global Sisterhood
"Service and friendship know no boundaries."

The New Taipei City Girl Scouts Association headed by its Chairperson, Madam Chen Yu-Lan and the GSP - Rizal Council led President, Dr. Carmelita L. Palabay recently converged for an International Exchange Activity held at Xiude Elementary School, New Taipei, Taiwan. It proved that as members of WAGGGS our mission is universal. This gathering was a friendly one, light, pleasant and most of all it was a powerful meeting of hearts and minds, dedicated to empowering the next generation of female leaders through the services of both volunteers and professional staff.
We are profoundly grateful for the incredibly warm welcome extended to our council.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the key leaders who made this possible:
Madam Chen Yu-Lan, Chairperson, New Taipei City Girl Scouts Association
Jeff Chia-Kai Hsu, PhD, Deputy Secretary-General, Girl Scouts of Taiwan
Dr. Handsome Chen, Principal, Xiude Elementary School, New Taipei City
Ms. July Tsai, Council Executive, New Taipei City Girl Scouts Association
Our gratitude also goes out to all the other Council Officers, Board Members, Troop Leaders, and most especially, the Girls who made this Exchange Program a more meaningful one.
Seeing the words of our partnership displayed so proudly serves as a reminder that wherever we go in the world, we have a home in the Girl Scouting Movement. We carry the experiences, lessons and the kindness of Taiwan back to the Philippines, inspired to continue our work with renewed passion and global perspective. 🇹🇼🇵🇭

Happy Women's Month! 💜

On March 21, we honored the women who made the Philippines a better place for us. From the history of Filipina leaders to the recognition of exemplary women in GSP Rizal Council, we were reminded of the beauty of leadership that is rooted in courage and empathy.

Special thanks to our speakers who inspired all participants to become leaders that speak up, intervene, and take action all for good of ourselves as family and community members.

Congratulations to our Exemplary Women awardees! Your efforts in making the Girl Scouts of the Philippines a safe space for girls and young women to realize, develop, and enhance their skills are truly outstanding and remarkable.
