Commission on Student Election-COMSELEC

The Commission on Student Elections also proudly lauds the achievements of former student leaders of the Pamantasan, whose excellence extends beyond the halls of student leadership and into their respective professional careers.

Among those who have successfully passed the licensure examination are Nina Kelly Enandan, RPm, former Student Regent and former President of the PLP Supreme Student Council; Karen Celine Queliope, RPm, former Editor-in-Chief of the Lundayan Student Publication; Angel Bangcore, RPm, former President of the PLP Rotaract Club; and Buen Victor Ricohermoso, RPm, former President of the PLP Peer Facilitators Group.

Their accomplishments stand as a testament to the value of student leadership as a formative experience, where the skills, discipline, and sense of responsibility developed in serving the Pamantasan continue to find purpose in their professional endeavors.

The Commission celebrates not only their achievement as newly licensed psychometricians, but also the legacy they have built as student leaders who once dedicated their time and talents to serving the PLP community.

Congratulations to our former student leaders and newly licensed psychometricians! Your COMSELEC family celebrates with you.

CELEBRATING THE SUCCESS OF THE PIONEERING BATCH!

The Commission on Student Elections proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) in the recently held September 2026 Philippine Psychometrician Licensure Examination (PPLE).

As the pioneering batch of AB Psychology students, the successful examinees have made history by achieving an outstanding performance in their first-ever licensure examination, marking a significant milestone for the program and the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Commission is especially proud to celebrate the success of two of its former officers who have now joined the ranks of licensed psychometricians. Charlie James B. Pascual, RPm, former COMSELEC Electoral Representative for the College of Arts and Sciences, earned an impressive Top 8 placement in the September 2026 PPLE. Meanwhile, Jhon Louisa Mae Curatcho, RPm, former COMSELEC Commissioner for Budget and Finance, likewise successfully passed the licensure examination.

From serving the student body through the Commission to achieving professional milestones in their chosen field, their success reflects the dedication, perseverance, and excellence they have carried beyond student leadership.

Congratulations to the pioneering batch of AB Psychology and to our former officers, Charlie James B. Pascual, RPm and Jhon Louisa Mae Curatcho, RPm!

The Commission on Student Elections joins the entire PLP community in celebrating this remarkable milestone.

"May you continue to carry the hopes of the students who placed their trust in you. Leadership will never be an easy road. There will be moments that will test your patience, challenge your values, and break your expectations. There will be times when the work feels exhausting and the sacrifices feel unseen. But never allow those moments to break you."

The ceremony has ended. The applause has faded. The oath has been spoken. But the real question remains: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙝?

Today, we did more than recite a pledge, we embraced a responsibility that extends far beyond this ceremony. Guided by the theme, "Pamumunong may dangal, prinsipyo, at pananagutan," we begin a journey defined not by the positions we hold, but by the character we embody, the principles we uphold, and the impact we create.

Leadership is not measured by the title we carry, but by the trust we earn, the service we render, and the lives we positively influence.

As we move forward, we commit ourselves to becoming leaders who listen with empathy, lead with purpose, and serve without reservation. We aspire to build a student government that is transparent in its actions, inclusive in its initiatives, and steadfast in its pursuit of excellence for every learner.

𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧.

The oath has been taken. Now, the work begins.

TODAY IS THE DAY PARA SA ! ✨️
