Bakit mali ang ganitong kaisipan?
Maraming tao ang nagtitiis sa trabaho dahil natatakot mawalan ng kita. May pamilya silang binubuhay, mga utang na kailangang bayaran, at mga responsibilidad na hindi puwedeng basta iwan. Naiintindihan iyon. Pero hindi ibig sabihin na kailangan mong tanggapin ang pang-aabuso.
Kapag alam ng isang amo o manager na takot kang mawalan ng trabaho, maaari nilang gamitin ang takot na iyon para kontrolin, maliitin, o pagsamantalahan ka. Hindi lang ito nangyayari sa Pilipinas. Marami ring kababayan natin sa ibang bansa ang minamaltrato, ngunit nahihirapang umalis dahil sa malaking utang at kawalan ng ibang mapagpipilian. Ang iba ay umuuwi pang wala nang buhay.
May mga manager din na kapag na-promote, kung umasta ay parang pag-aari na nila ang kumpanya at ang mga empleyado. Pero walang posisyon, titulo, o sahod ang nagbibigay sa sinuman ng karapatang mang-api.
Kapag inaagrabyado ka, ipaglaban mo ang sarili mo. Mag-ipon ng ebidensya, magsumbong sa tamang opisina, humingi ng suporta, at maghanda ng ligtas na paraan para makaalis. Hindi lahat ay kayang mag-resign agad, pero maaari kang gumawa ng plano.
Hindi ka mahina dahil kailangan mo ang trabaho. Pero hindi rin nangangahulugang kailangan mong habambuhay magtiis. Ang trabaho ay maaaring palitan. Ang dignidad, kalusugan, at buhay mo ay hindi.

What’s the difference?
Concurrency allows multiple tasks to make progress during overlapping periods of time, even if they are not running at exactly the same moment.
Parallelism executes multiple tasks at the same time by using multiple processors, cores, or computing resources.

What’s the difference?
Technical Debt is the future cost created when teams choose faster or easier solutions that may require additional work later.
A Code Smell is a warning sign in the code that may indicate poor design, unnecessary complexity, or a deeper maintainability problem.
