Marami sa ating OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH (OSY) ang nahaharap sa hadlang pinansyal at panlipunan—tulad ng pangangailangang magtrabaho, responsibilidad sa pamilya, at kakulangan sa educational access. Iilan lamang ito sa mga lehitimong dahilan upang hindi makapagtapos ang isang kabataan.

Sa pamamagitan ng ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM (ALS), meron tayong pangalawang pagkakataon ngunit kailangan ng sapat na suporta upang makapagtapos.

Layunin ng proposal na ito ay magbigay ng tulong sa mga kwalipikadong OSY sa ilalim ng ALS upang mahikayat ang kanilang pagtuloy at pagtatapos ng edukasyon.

🤝 PASIG LGU - GCASH PARTNERSHIP

1. Pasig Mega Market Vendors will soon have the option to pay rent via GCASH as an option. Pwede parin naman po ang cash payment, basta kung ano ang mas madali para sa vendor. 😊

2. Select social aid will soon be disbursed through GCash = less lines, less hassle, less commuter expense.

Pag maayos po ang implementasyon, maaaring palawakin pa sa ibang sektor / departmento. 👍

As we mark the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig's 27th Founding Anniversary this month, allow me to congratulate all stakeholders who continue to work hard to help the university grow and reach greater heights.

As an expression of gratitude, we filed 2 proposed ordinances on March 6, 2026:

1. Scholarship subsidy for full-time teaching personnel who are currently enrolled or will enroll in a Master’s Degree program.

2. Scholarship subsidy for full-time non-teaching personnel who are currently enrolled or will enroll in a Master’s or Doctorate Degree program.

Thank you to President Maningas for suggesting these measures to further support the professional development of our university personnel.

*Previously, the 11th Council approved a similar measure granting subsidy to full-time teaching personnel enrolled in a doctorate degree program.

When there are important initiatives spearheaded by the executive, we do our best to prioritize and help in our own capacity.

An additional Php100 million from the national government is coming to the Pasig LGU to build more classrooms and improve existing school facilities in public schools.

The Committee on Education, together with the City Council, has approved this important partnership — a tangible step for better learning environments.

Below are the salient points discussed during the committee hearing.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE prohibiting incumbent local officials (Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Councilors) from endorsing beneficiaries to LGU-funded scholarship programs.

This measure strengthens our commitment to anti-patronage reforms and ensures that every scholar is selected based on merit, qualifications, and objective criteria — not personal connections.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE granting partial subsidy para sa mga empleyado ng Pasig LGU na nais makapagtapos ng kolehiyo sa pamamagitan ng EXPANDED TERTIARY EDUCATION EQUIVALENCY AND ACCREDITATION PROGRAM (ETEEAP).

Sa ETEEAP, kikilalanin ang kaalaman, kasanayan, at karanasang nakuha sa trabaho bilang kredito sa pag-aaral.

Naniniwala tayo na ang mahusay na serbisyo ng ating mga empleyado ay dapat may kaakibat na oportunidad na makakatulong sa kanilang paglago.

Thank you to the office of Mayor Vico Sotto for constantly guiding the Committee on Education.

To celebrate the 2nd time the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig College of Nursing has achieved 100% passing rate, the City Council - upon the direction of the Office of the City Mayor has passed the resolution granting Php5,000 to all nursing passers.

Furthermore, those who will render service to Pasig City for 24months (as per 2026 resolution, non-retroactive) will be getting a higher incentive of Php15,000.
