Job Summary:

The Accounting Head will oversee the overall financial and accounting operations of the branch or region. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and internal controls, contributing to sound financial decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Supervise daily accounting operations (AR, AP, payroll, inventory).
✅Manage and prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
✅Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory agencies.
✅Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
✅Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.
✅Ensure accuracy of POS-to-ledger reconciliation across stores.
✅Lead audits (internal and external).
✅Manage and develop the accounting team.
✅Coordinate with operations team to analyze costs, improve margins, and reduce waste.
✅Implement and monitor internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

✅Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA preferred.
✅At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
✅Experience in the food/retail industry is a strong advantage.
✅Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent).
✅Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR regulations.
✅High attention to detail, integrity, and leadership ability.
✅Excellent communication and analytical skills
