Biyernes Santo 2026 | Tondo, Manila

Instead of visiting other towns during Holy Week, we decided to witness the traditions observed within our own community.

Aside from the usual flagellants, I noticed this man walking alone, carrying his cross as he slowly made his way through the streets toward the chapel.

Whenever I witness this kind of sacrifice, I often wonder what goes through their minds. Are their sins as heavy as the cross they carry, or as painful as the suffering they endure?

Ngayong Pista ng Sto. Nino sa Tondo, nag-ikot kami para kuhanan ang mga kasiyahan sa paligid. Nasaktuhan namin itong street boxing sa isang barangay. Hindi planado pero sulit dahil ang saya ng mga eksena at ng mga taong nakasalamuha. :)
