The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – BIPSU Student Chapter proudly conducted its Educational Plant Visit in Cebu, providing student members valuable industry exposure and practical engineering insights beyond the classroom setting.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏| Included visits to 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒂𝑴𝒊𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒊 & 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒍𝑨𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, where participants observed modern manufacturing systems, precision engineering processes, and industrial safety practices, gaining a clearer view of real-world applications of classroom theories.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐| Continued with visits to 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑻𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒊 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 (𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖), 𝑰𝒏𝒄., & 𝑻𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒊 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 (𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔), 𝑰𝒏𝒄., where students gained insights into heavy industry operations, shipbuilding, engineering technologies, and sustainability practices.

This two-day experience strengthened the connection between academic learning and professional practice—enhancing technical competence, leadership skills, and professional awareness among future mechanical engineers. Through direct engagement with industry experts, students developed a greater appreciation for engineering responsibilities, workplace standards, and continuous improvement in the field.

The PSME BIPSU Student Chapter extends its sincere gratitude to all partner companies and their dedicated personnel for warmly accommodating the group and generously sharing their knowledge and expertise. 🙌🏻
