The second day of the Seniorsโ Retreat at Natureโs View Homestay was filled with energy, laughter, and meaningful collaboration as students participated in a series of interactive team-building activities. Designed to strengthen unity, trust, and cooperation, the day reminded the seniors that faith is not only lived individually, but also expressed through fellowship and teamwork.
As the sun rose over the venue, students gathered with enthusiasm, ready to take on the challenges ahead. Divided into teams, they moved through six stations that tested their communication, problem-solving skills, patience, and ability to work together, qualities essential as they journey forward toward graduation and beyond.

This activity challenged teams to untangle a knotted rope without letting go. It required careful coordination, patience, and clear communication. As hands moved slowly and minds worked together, students were reminded that problems are best solved when everyone stays connected and works as one.

In this station, players guided a pen through a maze using strings attached to it, each member holding one rope. Success depended on unity and precise coordination. The activity emphasized trust and listening, proving that progress happens when everyone moves in the same direction.

Teams selected one member to hold a bottle while the rest of the group supported and guided them. The goal was to place the bottle as far as possible without losing balance. Cheers and laughter filled the area as students learned the importance of encouragement and reliance on one another.

Using only bamboo sticks, teams worked together to lift a ball out of a basket. The challenge demanded patience, coordination, and steady focus. It highlighted how success is achieved when each member contributes their role with care and precision.

This station tested strategy and perseverance as teams transported water using a bamboo filled with holes, delivering it to a basin on the other side. Despite inevitable spills, students pressed on, learning that even small efforts, when done together, can lead to meaningful results.

The final challenge gathered students in a circle, using only their feet to balance a basin of water for as long as possible. The activity required unity, patience, and shared responsibility, ending the day with a powerful reminder that balance in life is sustained through cooperation and mutual support.
As the two-day retreat came to a close, students left not only with laughter and memories but with hearts deeply impacted. In such a short time, they discovered the power of teamwork, the joy of fellowship, and the assurance that faith strengthens every bond.
Though brief, these two days became a lifetime of lessons, reminding the seniors that no matter the challenges ahead, they are anchored in faith and rooted in their identity in Christ, united in friendship, and ready to face the next chapter, together.

The first day of the Spiritual Retreat for Grade 12 Graduating Students, ALTIORA unfolded as a sacred Sabbath of reflection, worship, and inner healing. Set within an atmosphere of quiet reverence, the day invited seniors to pause from lifeโs noise and intentionally journey inward, recognizing Godโs presence in their past, their present, and the future He is preparing for them.

Grounded in Exodus 2:11โ21, the morning session led students into a deep reflection on Mosesโ past, marked by failure, fear, and uncertainty. Through guided group discussions, seniors were encouraged to confront their own stories, acknowledging how past experiences, mistakes, and struggles have shaped who they are today. In prayer and honest conversation, they were reminded that even in moments of guilt and brokenness, God remains present, guiding every step with purpose.

Centered on Exodus 3:1โ9, the next session focused on Mosesโ encounter with God at the burning bush, a powerful reminder that identity is not defined by failure, but by Godโs call. As seniors reflected on Godโs declaration, โI am who I am,โ they were invited to recognize their worth not through labels or shortcomings, but through Godโs unchanging presence. In moments of silence, worship, and Scripture, hearts were reassured that God calls His people not because they are perfect, but because He is faithful.
Drawing from Exodus 3:10โ21, the afternoon session shifted the focus toward the future, Godโs promises, calling, and sustaining grace. As Moses was sent despite his fears and doubts, the seniors reflected on their own uncertainties as they approach graduation and life beyond school. Through discussions and prayer, they were reminded that Godโs grace is sufficient and His identity remains constant, guiding them into who they are becoming.
The day concluded with a moment of collective prayer, voices united, hearts open, and spirits anchored in Christ. As the Sabbath drew to a close, students surrendered their past, embraced their present, and entrusted their future to the God who never changes.
The first day of the retreat left a lasting imprint on every seniorโs heart, reminding them that identity is not found in who we were or who we fear we are becoming, but in who God is. Anchored in His promises, strengthened by His grace, and guided by His presence, the journey continues.

The Senior Class of 2026 of South Philippine Adventist College Academy (S**CA) went into a two-day spiritual retreat, a time of reflection, renewal, and reconnection with God and with one another. Anchored on the theme โA Journey With Him, Our Identity in Christ,โ this much-needed retreat was held on February 7โ8, 2026 at Natureโs View Homestay, Balutakay. It aimed to nurture the faith of the graduating students as they seek and embrace their identity in Christ while preparing for the next stepping stone of life and its greater challenges.
The retreat began with an assembly at the S**C Grandstand, where students, facilitators, sponsors, and faculty gathered with hearts full of eagerness and excitement. As the sunโs rays reflected across the field and the breath of fresh air, a devotional was held to solemnly set the tone for the programs and activities ahead.
With ready hearts and willing souls, the buses and state truck departed for Natureโs View Homestay. The refreshing atmosphere of the chosen venue provided students with a much-needed pause, a chance to unwind, reflect, and reconnect with one another.
As the day unfolded, students settled in, explored the venue, and prepared their hearts for the sacred Sabbath day. This gathering was more than merely just a program; it was a call to pause, listen, and rediscover oneโs identity in God as we continue our journey with Him, no matter the circumstances or trials we face. The day continued with an engaging breakout session, where students were divided into ten groups to share their experiences, struggles, and testimonies of Godโs faithfulness.
