PILI, Camarines Sur- This was expressed by Center Director Elsa Parot during her closing remarks of the 5- day Training of Trainers on Coconut-Cacao Farming System. The DA-ATI Bicol proudly produced 28 graduates comprising of 7 Agricultural Extension Workers (AEW), 4 PCA Personnel, and 17 Farmer Leaders across the Bicol Region.

The training aimed to provide knowledge on the economic and environmental advantages of Coconut-Cacao Farming System through lectures, plenary discussions, and practical applications.

As part of the training, the participants also had a benchmarking activity at the Crave Cacao Orchard, where they learned about proper pruning, identification of pests and diseases, nursery management, post-harvest activities, and marketing activities.

This training aims the Twenty-Five (25) Agricultural Extension Workers to enhance their understanding of AECA and be part of the pool of Agro-Enterprise (AE) facilitators and resource persons.
