I missed my old tribe.
I did the weather briefing again for this year's Philippines in Subic. Something i did for 12 seasons of my racing life.
Great seeing old faces and new ones doing good old SBR.
Congrats and the IM/sunrise team for a job well done!
Ghost Nets are abandoned fishing nets that fall to the ocean floor and end up damaging coral reefs. But here at Lubi Plantation, these nets were transformed into art.
Lubi Plantation is home to the Lubi Art Project where artists create large art installations made from materials found and recycled from all over the island. This art installation called recruit (no.4) by Poklong Anading uses ghost nets recovered from around the island to create coral-shaped branches and this larger-than-life piece for guests to enjoy.
There is more art to discover at - explore the island and see what these artists have created inspired by Lubi.
