Under 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟭𝟲𝟯, tertiary students are required to complete one of the three NSTP components across two semesters: 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗪𝗧𝗦) for community welfare and development, 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗧𝗦) for education and literacy, or 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖) for military leadership, discipline, and preparedness. Each component offers a distinct way for young Filipinos to contribute to their communities and country.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army recognizes that every path under NSTP can help shape responsible and service-oriented citizens. For those who aspire to develop leadership, discipline, and readiness while answering the call to serve, ROTC offers a meaningful opportunity to take that commitment further. Through training and experience, future cadets can build the foundation needed for national service and pursue a path toward becoming commissioned officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Force.

The freedom and peace we enjoy today were paid for by the courage of those who came before us. Today, we honor our national heroes, both the legendary figures of our history and the everyday champions among us.

May their bravery remind us that the power to shape a better nation lies in each of our hands.
