6 years ago today, Little Mix released their fourth studio album, ‘Glory Days.’
Glory Days broke a string of records on Spotify and on the UK Albums Charts. It showcased the best first-week sales in Little Mix's career, selling over 100,000 copies in its first week. It became the fastest-selling number-one album by a girl group in 15 years, had the highest first-week UK album sales for a girl group since 1997, and made them the eighth girl group to land a number one album on the charts. It spent five weeks at number one, becoming the longest charting number one album by girl group since 1996.
In 2018, it set a new chart record for the most weeks spent inside the top 40 of the UK Albums Chart for a girl group album, spending a total 89 weeks. In 2020 it became the most streamed album by a girl group on Spotify, and the first album by a girl group to reach 2 billion combined streams; earning them a Guinness World Record. It is also included on the list of best-selling albums of the 2010s in the United Kingdom.
A commercial success, the album peaked at number-one on both of the Irish Albums Chart, and Scottish Albums Chart. It reached the top ten in Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Spain, and charted in other territories including Italy, Germany, and the US, where it reached number twenty five on the US Billboard 200. As of 2017, it had sold over 1.6 million copies worldwide.

4 years ago today, Little Mix released their fifth studio album 'LM5'.
LM5, marked the first time that Little Mix was listed as executive producers. It has been described as a feminist album, with lyrics that were focused around women's rights, MeToo movement, sexism, feminism and body positivity. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise drawn towards the album's exploration of other genres, maturity in lyrics, and their vocal performance. It has since been hailed by fans as the group's best album. The albums lead single “Woman Like Me” with Minaj peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and reached the top ten in seven other countries. It also won British Video of the Year, at the 39th Brit Awards. It's second and final single “Think About Us”, with Ty Dolla Sign reached number twenty-two in the UK.
The album peaked at number three on the UK Albums Charts, making Little Mix the first girl group to have five consecutive top-five studio albums in the UK. It reached the top ten on the Flemish, Australian, Dutch, Irish, Lithuanian, New Zealand, Scottish and Spanish album charts, and peaked at number forty on the US Billboard 200. To promote the album, the group aired exclusive performances from Apple Music Presents: Little Mix, Live From London, and performed at shows including, Strictly Come Dancing UK, The X Factor UK, MTV Europe Music Awards, and Brit Awards
LM5 has surpassed 1.2 billion streams on Spotify, making Little Mix the first girl group to have three or more albums receive over a billion streams each on the platform.
