The PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office is currently conducting the Inclusive Education Webinar with the theme, “𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬: 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥,” today, June 5, via the Zoom platform.

Led by 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆 𝑴. 𝑫𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒐𝒏 who is currently completing her 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, the webinar highlights the importance of inclusive education in creating learning environments where everyone, regardless of ability, background, identity, or circumstance, is given equal opportunities to learn, participate, and succeed.

It also emphasizes the need to identify and remove barriers that may hinder access to quality education, fostering classrooms that are safe, accessible, and welcoming for all. Let us promote inclusive education and create barrier-free learning spaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate, succeed, and reach their full potential. 🧡💜

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 📣 | Participants gather for the second day of the Inclusive Infrastructure Training, organized by the Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSIO) in partnership with Life Haven Center for Independent Living at the Quality Assurance Center.

Today's sessions begin with a recap of the key learnings and insights from the first day through a fun activity, followed by further discussions on accessibility laws and their role in promoting disability-inclusive spaces. Later this afternoon, the event will also hold an accessibility assessment of the University Library's entrance and comfort room facilities to evaluate whether these areas adequately meet the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and identify opportunities for improvement.

As the training concludes, this initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to promote accessibility, uphold inclusivity, and foster an environment where everyone can participate and thrive with dignity and equal opportunity. 🧡💜

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 📣 | The Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSIO) in collaboration with Life Haven Center for Independent Living officially started the first day of the Inclusive Infrastructure Training at the Quality Assurance Center.

Led by Dr. Jun Bernandino, this two-day training aims to strengthen the participants' understanding of disability-inclusive infrastructure, accessibility standards, and responsive institutional practices.

This initiative reflects PUP's continued commitment to fostering an inclusive campus environment where accessibility, equity, and social inclusion are embedded in both policy and practice. 🧡💜

In celebration of Pride Month 2026, the PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office, together with various student organizations, have prepared a series of events and activities that aim to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and honor the experiences and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community. Through educational, creative, and community-centered initiatives, these activities seek to foster a campus environment where everyone is respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves.

Throughout June, join us as we come together to learn, connect, and celebrate the many colors that make up our community. The celebration will continue into July, highlighting self-expression, creativity, and pride.

We warmly invite everyone to take part in these activities and stand with us in building a more inclusive, equitable, and affirming community for all. 🌈✨

Opisyal na'ng bukas ang eksibit na pinangungunahan ng mga mag-aaral ng Batsilyer ng Sining sa Kasaysayan 4-2 at 4-3 na pinamagatang “Kwentong Kababaihan: Mga Salaysay ng Karanasan ng mga Piling Kababaihan sa PUP.”

Layunin ng eksibit na ito na suriin ang kalagayan at representasyon ng mga kababaihan sa loob ng PUP gamit ang historiograpikal na pagtingin, palalimin ang kritikal na pag-unawa sa kasarian at peminismo bilang mahahalagang lente sa pagsusuri ng kasaysayan, at magsilbing espasyo ng kamalayan, pagninilay, at kolektibong pagkilos tungo sa isang higit na inklusibong pamantasan.

Bukas ang eksibit mula Hunyo 2 hanggang Hunyo 5, 2026, sa ikaapat na palapag ng South Wing. Inaanyayahan ang lahat na bisitahin at makibahagi sa makabuluhang pagtalakay at pag-unawa sa mga karanasan, hamon, at ambag ng kababaihan sa loob ng pamantasan.

The PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office, in collaboration with Life Haven Center for Independent Living, will conduct the “𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴” on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟯–𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, from 𝟴:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 at the 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. This two-day training is intended for selected university employees and personnel whose roles and responsibilities are directly connected to inclusivity, accessibility, and support services for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

As part of PUP’s continuing commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environment, the training aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of disability-inclusive infrastructure, accessibility standards, and responsive institutional practices. Through collaborative discussions and capacity-building sessions, the initiative seeks to help improve campus facilities, systems, and services to better address the needs of learners with disabilities, while promoting equal access, participation, dignity, and independence within the university community.
