Safety Inspections vs Safety Walk

Ang pangunahing pagkakaiba sa pagitan ng safety inspection at safety walk ay ang kanilang level of formality at planning. Ang safety inspection ay isang formal at planned process, habang ang safety walk naman ay informal at madalas ay unplanned.

Key Structural Highlights:

• Documentation and Tools: Sa isang safety inspection, kailangan ng checklist sa clipboard o digital device para ma-record ang lahat ng observations. Sa safety walk naman, mas focused sa interaction; "informal" ito dahil hindi mo kailangang mag-fill out ng specific forms habang naglalakad.

• Focus Areas: Kahit magkaiba sila, pareho silang tumitingin sa apat na aspeto: People (tasks and PPE), Environment, Equipment (machinery and safeguards), at Materials.

• Mentoring vs. Reporting: Ang safety walk ay magandang opportunity para sa mga manager na mag-mentor at magkaroon ng exposure sa kanilang co-workers. Ang safety inspection naman ay mas nakatutok sa paggawa ng formal report para sa safety condition ng buong work site.
