Happy Easter!
Life update: After church, I decided to get back into reading after some time. I chose to do it in a café, hoping a different environment would push me to actually read (it did btw).
Today, I picked up Trip to Quiapo by "The" Ricky Lee, which interestingly was also the last book I read before I crammed to write a script for a contest. I’m hoping to finally finish it this time.
Trip to Quiapo is a great guide for aspiring scriptwriters like me. It doesn’t just teach the technical side of scriptwriting. It walks you through the process of embracing the craft, almost like preparing you to enter the world of storytelling.
Hopefully, I can sustain this and start setting aside time every weekend—or even Mondays—(if I have no other plans) to go out and read. My TBR pile has been haunting me!
To be continued… ✨
Another one in the books! 📚
Sobra ko atang na-enjoy ang PBF this year at tatlong araw akong (sunod-sunod!) pumunta! This is a first kasi kahit sa MIBF, never ko itong ginawa at kahit sa PBF last year, Sunday lang talaga ako pumupunta. And I must say that I don’t regret what I did this year. I’m sure I will keep doing it. Social battery is definitely critical, but my heart is overflowing.
See you sa susunod na book fair? 😊❓️
