Retreat with Grade 6 students of Sta. Ines Integrated School. Through stories, laughter, and prayers, they were reminded to be kind, make good choices, and trust in God’s love.

More than just a retreat, it was a day of connection, growth, and inspiration, one they will carry in their hearts.

“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near.” (Matthew 4:17) Hindi lang ito simpleng panawagan, ito ang susi na kayang magbago ng direksyon ng buhay natin. Repentance is not just emotion, it is a decision to realign our minds and hearts with God’s Kingdom.

Hindi natin kayang dalhin ang lumang pag-iisip sa bagong realidad ng Kaharian. Because transformation begins in the mind. The Kingdom is near, accessible, and available, and repentance is the doorway to experiencing it. Let us choose to shift our mindset, embrace the mind of Christ, and walk in the life God has prepared for us.

It was a very fruitful event with Grade 10 students of Sta. Ines Integrated School. We discussed collectively the mental health, family, and social media, which are the issues that have a significant impact on our everyday life as youth. Our experiences and sincere words, sharing and prayers, were a reminder that it is okay not to be okay, our families are gifts to love and use social media in a wise and purposeful manner.

It was not just a day of learning, but it was a day of rejuvenation, bonding and a day of feeling Gods love. We hope that all the students hold these lessons into their hearts and move on as strong, faithful and hopeful.
