For the upcoming Academic Year 2026–2027, the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) will support deserving students to pursue the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Chinese Language Teaching and English (BSEd–ENG–CLT) at Angeles University Foundation (AUF).

Overview:
The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Chinese Language Teaching and English (BSEd CLT) is the first undergraduate teacher education program of its kind offered by a non-Chinese institution in the Philippines’ mainstream education system. Its curriculum was duly approved by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in 2011.

The Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation (CI-AUF) is among the earliest Confucius Institutes globally to establish this program, with support from the Confucius Institute Headquarters (now the Center for Language Education and Cooperation).

The program is offered under the AUF College of Education, which is among the select Higher Education Institutions in the country recognized as a Center of Excellence (COE) in Teacher Education, reflecting its strong commitment to academic quality and instructional excellence.

Since its inception, the program has consistently produced graduates who are highly proficient in both Chinese and English and are licensed professional teachers of the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Be part of our growing family. Inviting all incoming Grade 7 students to join the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) – Chinese Mandarin. Qualifying Exam & Oral Interview will be held on May 11, 2026, 8:00 AM at the Mandarin Room.

Today marks an important milestone for our SPFL Mandarin students as they successfully took their Youth Chinese Test (YCT) Level 1 Examination.

Mabalacat National High School, spearheaded by Ma’am Jessica T. Sison, and the SPFL Department, spearheaded by Sir Jasper R. Catanduanes, are truly grateful to the Chinese Volunteer Teachers from Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation for visiting our school to facilitate and monitor the test. Your support and dedication greatly contributed to the successful conduct of the examination.

The Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is an international standardized test designed to assess the Chinese language proficiency of young learners. It helps measure students’ ability to use Mandarin in their daily and academic lives, and serves as a valuable tool in guiding their continuous learning and global communication skills.
