At the Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC) Election and Oath-Taking Ceremony on September 12, 2026, Ryan Christopher S. Escaner, the former FSSC president, delivered his final message to the new FSSC administration and officially handed over the seal of responsibility.

In that message, Escaner told the new officers that leadership should be based on serving others and encouraged them to see their roles not as privileges but as a responsibility to all the students they represent.

“Wear this badge not as a mark of privilege, but as a promise to listen attentively, act decisively, and care deeply for the welfare of every student you represent,” he said.

Escaner also expressed his confidence in the incoming administration, encouraging them to trust their team, remain faithful to their vision, and remember why they chose to serve.

Reflecting on his own term, he described leading the FSSC as “the honor of a lifetime,” expressing gratitude for the memories, trust, and privilege of serving the student body.

As the seal of responsibility passes to a new administration, Escaner leaves behind a reminder that leadership is, above all, a commitment to serve.

𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀

The lights may have dimmed, but the voices and memories from PAMANA: Where Every Decade Finds Its Style continue to linger. On September 4, SLSU-MCC campusmates gathered to celebrate an evening of style, music, recognition, and shared moments, and Pintig at Tinig was there to hear what the night meant to them.

From awardees reflecting on their wins, first-time attendees sharing their impressions, and graduating students experiencing their final acquaintance party, to student leaders looking back on their years of service and those behind the event sharing the experience of bringing it all together, each voice painted a different picture of PAMANA.

Now, revisit the night through the words of our campusmates as Pintig at Tinig brings you their thoughts, feelings, and memorable moments from an evening where every decade found its style.

𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | 𝗔𝘁 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁?
by Jesame Sanico

Sacrifice, consequences, results.

All those acts of selflessness-where did they lead you?

Staying and choosing them over yourself... but at what cost?

Have you been truly seen?

Has anyone reached the depth of who you are?

Has anyone gone beyond every limit just to understand how deeply you think?

You've always been there for them- but what about you?

You stay... but at what cost?

You're always present for them... but at what cost?

Does it give you fulfillment, knowing you give them the very things you crave but never get to

experience yourself?

But are you truly fulfilled?

Are you truly satisfied?

Does your heart crave more... or is it truly content?

If so-why do you go deeper still?

Why does your mind carry every thought, juggling it all alone?

Why do you feel harder to understand with every passing day?

At what cost?

You walk through this life giving others the feelings you so deeply wish to feel yourself...

But at what cost?

At what cost?
