In a heartwarming effort to promote inclusivity, learning, and community engagement, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Southern Leyte State University-Maasin City Campus (SLSU-MCC), together with various student organizations, successfully conducted the outreach program entitled โ€œHAPPY THINKERS: PLAY, LEARN, AND GROW โ€“ An Outreach Program for PWD Children and Parentsโ€ on May 29, 2026, at Tagnipa Gym.

The activity gathered PWD children, their parents, student leaders, and volunteers from different campus organizations, including the Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines SLSU-MCC Chapter (JSWAP), Circle of Public Administration Students (CPAS), PULSE Publication, Appointed Representatives of MCC Youth (ARMY), Peer Facilitatorโ€™s Circle, and the incoming SSC officers.

To further uplift the participants, snacks were distributed, providing an opportunity for everyone to share moments of joy and fellowship. The event also featured the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation to recognize the contributions and support of individuals and organizations that helped make the outreach program possible.
