The Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO) V, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office - Daraga, successfully facilitated the entrustment of two foster children to one of the licensed foster parents in the Bicol Region.

This activity marks another meaningful step in providing children with a safe, nurturing, and supportive family environment while they are under the Foster Care Program. Through the commitment of licensed foster parents and the continued collaboration of social workers and partner agencies, children are given the opportunity to experience the love, care, and protection, they need while their long-term care plans are being pursued.

RACCO V remains committed to strengthening the Foster Care Program and working with families and partners in ensuring that every child is provided with a safe and nurturing home where they can grow, heal, and thrive. 💙💛❤️

📌September 28, 2026 (Monday)
MORNING: WORK-FROM-HOME (8:00 AM – 12:00 NN)
In view of the anticipated nationwide transport strike, NACC employees are authorized to work from home during the morning.

AFTERNOON: SUSPENSION OF WORK (1:00 ONWARDS)
Work in government offices shall be suspended beginning at 1:00 PM in observance of the 34th National Family Week.

📌 September 29, 2026 (Tuesday)
Regular onsite/office work arrangements will resume on this date.

The Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO) V, through its Alternative Child Care Section (ACCs), successfully conducted its 3rd Foster Parent Meeting on September 19, 2026, in Legazpi City.

Once again, our licensed foster parents from across the Bicol Region came together in full force for a meaningful Kumustahan; an opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, raise concerns, and discuss matters that are important in their journey as foster parents.

The meeting was further enriched by Sir John Dominic B. Bolunia, Entomologist III and NAVDPCP Regional Program Coordinator of DOH-CHD Bicol, who shared timely and practical information on Dengue prevention and protection, especially as the region experiences a rise in cases.

Meanwhile, Ms. Juna Lynn P. Magno and Ms. Ariane Joy P. Orogo, foster parents, shared valuable insights on Financial Literacy, emphasizing the importance of financial preparedness in providing a stable and nurturing home for children.

More than just a meeting, the gathering served as a space for connection, learning, and shared experiences, reminding everyone that the foster care journey becomes stronger through support, understanding, and compassion.

The National Authority for Child Care (NACC)–Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO) V is beyond proud and filled with euphoria as we celebrate the success of one of our colleagues who passed the September 2026 Psychologists Licensure Examination (PsLE).

We have witnessed firsthand how he moved mountains to achieve this well-deserved success. His faith in himself, coupled with his humbleness and perseverance, is truly what made this achievement possible, and these are the qualities that make us even prouder of him.
