ππΏ *DID YOU KNOW? | CALAMANSI TRIVIA* πΏπ
Did you know that the plants growing around our school rural farm are more amazing than you think? π±β¨
Meet one of our most useful and beloved plantsβ**CALAMANSI! π**
π«π± *At San Gregorio Integrated School, we are proud to have 50 calamansi plants planted around our school*, adding greenery to our surroundings while providing a valuable source of fresh fruits for our school community.
π *TRIVIA #1: A Filipino Favorite!*
Calamansi is strongly associated with the Philippines and is widely grown and used in Filipino cuisine. Outside the Philippines, it is often known as *βPhilippine limeβ* or calamondin. Its distinct sweet-sour flavor makes it a favorite for sawsawan, juices, marinades, and many Filipino dishes.
π *TRIVIA #2: One Tree, Many Fruits!*
A healthy calamansi tree can produce *thousands of fruits in a year* under favorable growing conditions. Imagine the harvest that 50 trees can provide! π³πππ
π *TRIVIA #3: More Than Just the Juice!*
Calamansi peels contain aromatic oils and compounds that have been studied for their potential insect-repellent properties. Even the peel that we usually throw away can have useful applications!
π± *From our school farm to our school community, every plant has a purpose.*
The *50 calamansi plants of San Gregorio Integrated School* remind us that a school rural farm is more than just a gardenβit is a *living classroom where learners discover, grow, and appreciate the value of agriculture.* π
ππ± *Grow. Learn. Harvest. Share.*

π±π Y-PRUNING PARA SA MALUSOG NA TALONG! ππ±
Maliit na pagputol, malaking ani! πβ¨
Maliit man ang binhi, may kakayahan itong magbigay-buhay.
