Labrador NHS organizations (YES-O, BKB, & SSLG) participates on the annual celebration of International Coastal Cleanup Day at Laois Beach on September 19, 2026.

Celebrating International Coastal Cleanup Day reminds the public that protecting ocean begins not in the sea but on land—in how communities manage waste, use plastics, and protect waterways.

When communities unite for a common purpose, even the smallest individual actions ripple out to create a massive, lasting impact.

Our responsibility to the planet doesn't end when the cleanup day is over. Let’s carry this momentum forward by continuing to care for our oceans, keeping our daily surroundings clean, and inspiring those around us to adopt more sustainable habits.

Every major shift begins with someone who is simply willing to make a difference. Change doesn't happen by chance; it happens by choice. By making conscious decisions to reduce our waste and protect our shores, we ensure that the beauty and life of our oceans will thrive for generations to come.

In accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, also known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, and DepEd Order No. 50, s. 2015 on the Observance/Conduct of Flag Raising and Lowering Ceremonies, Labrador National High School regularly holds its Flag Retreat every Friday as part of its commitment to honoring the country’s national symbols.

The Flag Retreat serves as a meaningful weekly ceremony that signifies the end of the school week. By lowering the Philippine flag with proper decorum and respect, the school community demonstrates its continued patriotism, unity, and reverence for the nation’s heritage.

Labrador National High School participated in the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃) last June 18, 2026, a nationwide activity that aims to strengthen 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 and build a 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 among Filipinos.

From keeping calm under pressure to the disciplined and cooperative ex*****on of safety procedures, every action taken during the drill reflected a shared commitment to protecting one another.

Ito rin ay paalala na ang kalayaan ay bunga ng pagkakaisa at pagmamalasakit sa ating minamahal na bansa. Nawa'y patuloy nating pahalagahan ang ating kasaysayan at gampanan ang ating mga tungkulin para sa ikauunlad ng bayan.
