The Bureau of Fire Protection- AKLAN PROVINCIAL OFFICE welcomed the month of March with Fire Prevention Month KICK-OFF Ceremony. Started with Mass Intention facilitated by Kalibo Fire Station at The Cathedral Parish of Saint John the Baptist in Kalibo, Aklan.

Followed by the traditional motorcade, spearheaded by our Provincial Fire Marshal FSUPT PUBLIO D PLOTEÑA, DSC, as a jump-start of the month long celebration.

The activity aims to raise community awareness about the increased risk of fires and other emergencies as the dry season begins. Through awareness and preparedness, we can all work together to prevent disasters and ensure everyone’s safety.

Special thanks to the Kalibo Fire Marshal, FSINSP MACARIO MONTAÑA JR., along with the dedicated personnel who made this event successful.

We also extend our appreciation to all participating agencies who joined the motorcade and kick-off ceremony from the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, LGU-Kalibo, PDRRMO-Aklan, MDRRMO-Kalibo, and other government agencies, friends from the media and stakeholders for their unwavering support.

Let’s stay vigilant and committed to fire safety!
