Dahil sa matinding init ng panahon, marami ang naghahanap ng alternatibong paraan upang makapagpalamig kasama ang pamilya at mga kaibigan, lalo na ang mga hindi agad makapag-outing sa mga resort at swimming area. Isa sa karaniwang nakikitang paraan ay ang paggamit ng inflatable swimming pool sa tapat ng bahay o sa bakuran.

Gayunman, nagpaalala ang mga awtoridad na mahigpit nang ipinagbabawal ang paglalagay ng inflatable swimming pool sa gitna o anumang bahagi ng kalsada dahil ito ay itinuturing na obstruction o sagabal sa maayos na daloy ng trapiko at ligtas na pagdaan ng mga motorista at pedestrian.

Ayon sa mga ulat, nagsagawa na rin ng clearing operations ang mga pulis at lokal na pamahalaan laban sa mga pool at iba pang nakaharang sa lansangan. Ang mga lalabag ay maaaring masita, makumpiskahan ng gamit, at maharap sa kaukulang kaso dahil sa paglabag sa umiiral na mga ordinansa.

Paalala ng mga awtoridad, ang kalsada ay para sa pampublikong paggamit at hindi dapat gawing lugar ng paliligo o libangan, lalo na kung maaaring magdulot ito ng aksidente, abala, at panganib sa komunidad.

Mas mainam na ilagay ang inflatable pool sa loob ng bakuran, garahe, o pribadong lugar kung saan ligtas na makakapag-swimming ang mga bata at buong pamilya nang hindi nakakaabala sa iba.
