Imagine how powerful leaders usually enter a city. Streets are cleared. Security is tight. Sirens are loud. Soldiers stand guard. Power always announces itself.

But when Jesus entered Jerusalem, there were no horses, no swords, no army, no palace entourage. He entered riding a borrowed donkey, surrounded by ordinary people waving palm branches and shouting praises.
