According to DOH, here are ways to avoid being infected with flu:
• Get influenza vaccination preferably annually
• Minimize contact with a person who has influenza
• Avoid crowded places
• Distance yourself by at least 1 meter from people who are coughing or have influenza.
• Cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing to prevent spread of the virus
• Wash hands frequently with soap & water
