After months of stormy weather and postponed celebrations, the much-anticipated return of the monthly Mass at PSHS-BRC has finally happened. 🙏 The grand atmosphere filled our campus gymnasium with a renewed sense of faith and unity 🫂, reminding us of the strength we find in coming together as a community. 😇 From the solemn hymns that lifted our spirits 🎶 to the priest’s homily that inspired everyone, the experience was nothing short of uplifting. 🍃

As the countdown ends with the campus illuminated by the spirit of Christmas, 💫 Pisay BRC welcomes the month of December 🗓️ with a radiant night of festivities and fun! 💃🎊 In line with a long-standing Pisay tradition✨, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event featured a grand reveal of the school’s Christmas tree, 🎄along with the scholars’ Christmas village ⭐️🪄– both warmly aglow thanks to the careful hands that created it. 🫶💖Amidst the cool wind blowing 🌬️and rain softly falling ☔️, the event also featured a program showcasing the student body's sing-and-dance performances 🎶🎤 and holiday-themed spoken word poetry presentations. 🖋️📜

Immersed in the world while seeking solutions and inspiration, Batch 2025 scholars, alongside families in the Gawad Kalinga community, participate in an annual activity that leaves them with experiences they will forever be grateful for. Living with their foster families, they interacted with the people of the community, embracing their culture and understanding their challenges, all while fostering bonds and deeper empathy. 💖 From the first day to the last, a fellowship marked by the smiles of the youth became a memory to cherish. 😁

As they bid farewell, the scholars left with treasured memories of a journey that brought them closer to the heart of community life, inspiring them to make a positive difference in the world. 🫂

Remember how the sun’s golden slivers ✨ peaked through our home’s window as we snuggled and watched that one childhood TV show that we never wanted to miss? 🧐🤗

This year's Acquaintance Party (AKWE) took the student body on a trip down memory lane 🛣, granting the scholars another chance to relish in the nostalgia of their favorite childhood shows once more. 🌇

With the emergence of the new generation of trends📱, AKWE 2024 unified both the classics and the new—allowing us to reminisce the past while living in the present.

Featuring each group’s respective yell and banner, as well as various stations with fun games, this year’s AKWE truly became an avenue for fun, growth, and positivity. Not only did the scholars’ collective fondness of their favorite childhood media fuel their enthusiasm during the whole event, such fondness further forged communal bonds between the scholars—transcending all generational barriers. 🫂

And so, let us all look back on fond memories and forward to new beginnings—forever veiled in golden haze. 💛🍃
