𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 and 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 of 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 showcase the creativity and talent of its members through their booth display of paintings and other artworks--celebrating local artistry alongside diverse industries in the 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹, 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 happening from September 3-7, 2025.

The Tudlok Visual Artists Guild convened on August 28, 2025, for a meeting to discuss its plans and activities. The group discussed their rules and guidelines, upcoming exhibits, possible collaborations with schools, and community workshops. They also looked into future events where Tudlok Artists may take part.

More than just planning, the meeting showed the Guild's dedication to supporting its members and sharing art with the community. By setting clear priorities and strengthening collaboration, Tudlok reaffirms its role in promoting creativity, culture, and meaningful engagement through art.

To strengthen creativity and encourage artistic growth, 𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱, in collaboration with 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, provided pencil sets to their members as a way of supporting their creative journey.

As we greet the new school year ahead, we are about to venture into tomorrow's unknown, and we need leaders to lead and pave the way, guiding and bringing out the best in each of us.

As 𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱, also known as 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, continues to paint it's legacy, we thank the former officers for clearing up a path for today's future, and we welcome the newly appointed officers that'll carry the torch of creativity, giving color to a limitless future as each stroke symbolizes pathways of opportunities and success.

Tudlok Visual Artists Guild members joined the 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 during the Padigosan Festival 2025 in Digos City, showcasing their creativity through sail art.

The contest was conducted on July 17, 2025, at the Aplaya Gymnasium, where artists painted on sails based on the theme, “𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒐𝒔 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒆𝒇 𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆𝒔.” Each sail became a canvas that told stories of the city’s beautiful landscapes, culture, and identity.

Among the participants were Tudlok members: 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗕. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿, 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗟. 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗼, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗲 𝗠. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗔. 𝗧𝗶𝗼, 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗚. 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘆, 𝗥𝘂𝗱𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔. The 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 joins the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 with the theme "𝑲𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑵𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒐𝒔", held at the Gaisano Mall of Digos Atrium from July 15 to July 19, 2025. The event opened its first day with a vibrant display of artworks, crafts, products, and services. DSSC Tudlok, as a regular participant of the said exhibit, showcased their artworks at the said exhibit, highlighting the role of visual arts in promoting Digos City's vibrant culture and identity.

The 4th Padigosan Cultural and Trade Expo 2025 was organized by the City Government of Digos, through the Office of the City Tourism, led by 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗗. 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻, City Tourism Office, together with 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, City Councilor and Sangguniang Chairperson for Tourism, Culture, and Arts. The expo officially opened with the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, a tour of the different booths, cultural performances, and social networking.

Tudlok Visual Artists Guild, with the full support of Davao del Sur State College, is honored to be a part of this event, contributing to the shared vision of keeping Digos' culture alive through art.

In preparation for the forthcoming Padigosan Festival 2025 celebration in the City of Digos, the City Tourism Office conducted a General Orientation on the Padigosan Cultural and Trade Expo 2025, held at the City Tourism Office on July 10, 2025.

Joining the upcoming exhibit are student artists from the Tudlok Visual Artists Guild and the Malikhain Visual Arts Group, showcasing their diverse works of art created using various mediums and featuring diverse concepts.

This expo provides young visual artists from DSSC with a unique platform to showcase their creativity and talent, fostering both personal and professional growth. It will provide invaluable exposure to a wider audience, including art enthusiasts, potential buyers, and industry professionals, which can further lead to networking opportunities and mentorship. Such experiences can be pivotal in shaping Tudlok members' artistic journey and future career in the arts.

Davao Region AFRREDN proudly won First Place in the Best Booth category during the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘), held on June 19-21, 2025, in Mandaue City, Cebu, showcasing innovative and creative homegrown materials that captured the attention of many.

Davao del Sur State College, as a proud member of the Davao Region AFRREDN, participated in the said exhibition. Headed by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗟. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗼, DSSC showcased its innovative products and outstanding researches, alongside which are the creative splashes of artworks and masterpieces exhibited in the Davao Region AFRREDN's booth - paintings that exuberate our community and its culture.

Art pieces spattered, not just paint, but with coffee and bamboo, allowing creativity to flow not on limited mediums but on a vast variety and kinds.

𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗶𝘇 𝗩. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗧. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗦. 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻, 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝘆𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘇, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗷𝗲𝗻̃𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗶, 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗨. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 and 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗠. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗼, students from DSSC, members of Tudlok Visual Artists Guild / Malikhain Visual Arts Group, proudly displayed their creative waves of strokes depicting the identity of the DSSC community and successfully paved the way for their talents to travel through places and represent their school and guild.

𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘀

As part of its mission to support young artists, the 𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 and 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 officers distributed the second batch of free pencil sets to its members at 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲. This initiative reflects their shared commitment to nurturing creativity and helping students develop their artistic skills.

The second set of recipients were 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘁, 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗘. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗲 𝗠. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗜. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 and 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗦. 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻.

The simple act of giving art materials brought joy and excitement to the members, sparking new motivation to draw, sketch, and express their ideas. With fresh tools in hand, Tudlok hopes to inspire every artist to continue their creative journey and turn imagination into powerful visual stories.
