Sunga Hospital is honored to receive recognition from the Department of Health under the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially-Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) Program. This award acknowledges the hospital’s dedication to extending compassionate healthcare services to those in need, ensuring equitable access to medical assistance, and supporting the government's mission to uphold the health and welfare of every Filipino. The award was given on the 20th day of November 2025 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City.

This recognition motivates us more to deliver quality and affordable healthcare services and to strengthen our commitment to patient-centered care.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Medical Social Service Team, headed by Ms. Emelyn Golosino, RSW, for their unwavering dedication and hard work in assisting our patients.
