Yesterday, Mr. Cruz generously conducted home visits for several stroke patients, providing much-needed care and assistance to individuals who may have difficulty accessing healthcare services. He also attended to patients at the RHU with various musculoskeletal conditions, extending his expertise and service to those in need.

Bilang bahagi ng isasagawang School-Based Immunization (SBI) ngayong Oktubre, mahalagang malaman natin kung ano nga ba ang cervical cancer at paano ito maiiwasan.

Ang cervical cancer ay kanser na nabubuo sa kuwelyo ng matris. Kadalasan, ito ay dulot ng impeksiyon ng HPV o Human Papillomavirus na hindi nawawala sa katawan.

Ngunit, ito ay 100% preventable!

Today, October 1, 2026, the LGU Cordon, through the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Cordon, conducted a Clinical Assessment for Children with Special Needs under the Mental Health Program, in partnership with DepEd schools — Cordon South Central School, Cordon North, and CAGASAT.

✨ A total of 29 children have been assessed this year, helping identify their needs and facilitate appropriate interventions, referrals, and support.

This initiative is made possible through the MOA with Ms. Rosebelma Labuguen, strengthening our shared commitment to serving children and their families.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve these children, and we remain committed to continuing clinical assessments in the coming years to ensure that they receive the care and support they deserve. 💙
