The Compostela Fire Station, BFP Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Cebu, headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, and under the supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐏 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted its Weekly Troop Information and Education (TI&E) session.

This week’s learning session was facilitated by SFO3 Jack Janson, who discussed the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) 2024 App, an essential reference tool that provides responders with quick and reliable information during hazardous materials incidents and other emergency situations.

📱 The session emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing available technology and reliable reference materials to help personnel identify potential hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate initial response actions during emergencies.

🚒 Continuous learning and preparedness are essential in ensuring an effective emergency response. Through regular TI&E sessions, Compostela Fire Station personnel are given opportunities to enhance their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and strengthen their readiness to respond to various incidents while prioritizing the safety of both responders and the community.

Every lesson learned contributes to greater preparedness. Every prepared responder helps build a safer and more resilient community. 🔥🚒

Since its launching on January 2, 2026, BFF Friday has become a valued weekly tradition, bringing firefighters and community members closer together.
