[π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦] Personnel from FarmMoringa Corp. paid a courtesy call to Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC) President, Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, on April 28, 2026, at the DdOSC College Board Room.

Leading the delegation were General Manager Macoy Ronaldo de Ada, Operations Manager Noel R. Buenavista, and Project Officer Eduardo Lemente.

The meeting focused on exploring potential collaborations in research, extension, and production related to the cultivation of moringa (malunggay), a high-value crop recognized for its exceptional nutritional content, medicinal properties, and diverse economic applications. With its growing demand in the food, health, and wellness industries, malunggay presents strong potential for value-added products, livelihood generation, and enterprise development, particularly in rural communities.

Both parties emphasized the importance of ensuring product quality while promoting agricultural sustainability and community empowerment, especially in areas where production activities are situated.

Key discussions also covered the proposed work plan and strategic approaches to address current challenges and opportunities in moringa cultivation and postharvest handling.

Also present during the meeting were key DdOSC officials: Dr. Jenifer Peligrino (Director, Production Services Division), Dr. Jeson N. Geroche (Director, Extension Services Division), Jupite Mark U. Banayag (Director, Research and Development Division), and Dr. Elizer M. Rebucas (Head, Innovation Unit).
