Empowering Dreams Through Education: ALS A&E Test

The Alternative Learning System (ALS) of Compostela East District proudly and successfully conducted the Nationwide Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test today at Compostela National High School. This significant event marks another milestone in our continuous commitment to providing accessible and quality education to all learners.

This success would not have been possible without the generous support and collaboration of our valued partners in the community. We would like to extend our sincerest and deepest gratitude to the following barangays for their unwavering assistance and kindness:

✅Barangay Poblacion, under the leadership of Hon. Jian Tristan T. Ang, for generously providing lunch and ensuring that our learners were well taken care of throughout the day;
✅Barangay Ngan, headed by Hon. Vicente Damalerio, for their support in transportation and snacks, which greatly contributed to the comfort and convenience of our ALS takers; and
✅Barangay Mangayon, led by Hon. Evan L. Fuentes, for also providing lunch and showing their strong commitment to the education and welfare of our learners.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated education leaders: our Public Schools District Supervisor of Compostela East, Dr. Maroja R. Belisario, and the District Coordinating Principal of Compostela West, Maria Bella R. Alvarez. Earlier today, the Alternative Learning System (ALS) of Compostela East District successfully conducted a Financial Literacy Symposium at Compostela Central Elementary School SPED Center.

The activity aimed to equip ALS learners with essential knowledge and practical skills in managing personal finances, saving wisely, and making informed financial decisions. A total of forty active and enthusiastic participants attended the symposium, showing their strong interest in improving their financial well-being and life skills.

The highlight of the event was the insightful discussion delivered by resource speaker Ninio B. Manialag, MBA, who shared his expertise on financial literacy. He emphasized the importance of budgeting, financial planning, and responsible money management. His engaging presentation inspired participants to become more financially aware and empowered in handling their resources.

The success of this activity reflects the continued dedication of the ALS Compostela East District in providing meaningful learning opportunities beyond the classroom, fostering practical life skills that contribute to personal growth and community development.
