Leading Lines

I know this is one of the most commonly shared photography tips, but developing this habit is a valuable start to your photography journey. It allows you to guide the viewer's attention, which can be particularly impactful. For instance, I employed this technique by using a bamboo railing to direct attention towards my subject. This simple choice can imbue the photograph with significant meaning.

There are two things I've learned about editing this photo series.

First, take your time. Take the time to edit photos because the results will always be worth it.

Second, make small adjustments. You can make all the necessary adjustments or identify the things that need adjusting in a picture.

For example, here, I have bright images with greens and oranges that are unsaturated because it's a skin tone. So, I made those small adjustments with the given color to emphasize it more.

By the way, my model's name for today is Dos. He's the boy who always says no, but his Tito's camera is faster than him. 😜

Here are two of my favorite shots of houses from this series during our trip to Magallanes. I've been spending a lot of time editing these past days and hope I can finish everything by the end of November.

Night Road

A.I. has been a part of my experiment through this night shoot. It's amazing how powerful tool this is but there's always a catch or feels unnatural. Hopefully I can try it out on client works, if necessary.

The Game in the Frame

I'm in love with this shot of a basketball board where lines are symmetrical. I noticed how long it took me to edit this one because I clean a lot of my photos using photoshop. I guess that's how I was evolving in my creative process.

I had a chance to take night portraits using the local
covered court lights. I also love how I mimic the look of
film in the second photo where I shoot it in
underexposed settings and bump the exposure in post
after.

I like taking pictures of the people I’ve been with from their behind. It’s like they are walking on a path and the composition is already great. It tells a lot of story but lately it feels like this tells the phrase “Catching up”. Sometimes I felt behind from all that people I met or closed to. Then I’m gonna run till I reach them just like every shot I took but maybe it's just on one point of view where I wasn’t in the time to be with them.

Spaces and Shapes

The two elements from this street series of photos that I've been capturing lately through my phone. I love how each of it shows how stillness could be interesting subject. It made me stopped from my walks or gives me a sign to remember a moment in my life. Some day shows colors. Some days show shadows. Some says they see the emotions from my photographs and I say they speak. I learned how they communicate visually and see things differently.
