SOUTH STRAY HAVEN

Thanks to the collective help from Pobreng echoi, Optum CCA Helping Hand, and all individual contributors who shared their support, we were able to purchase much-needed supplies for our rescues this month.

These include:

✅ Parasitic meds
✅ Deworming meds
✅ Rice and protein
✅ Wet food
✅ One sack of dog food, donated by Ati Mearlvand
✅ One sack of cat food

We are so grateful for every donation, big or small. Because of your kindness, our rescues receive the food and care they need to stay healthy while waiting for their forever homes.

At the same time, we want to be honest: we are still far from completing all that our rescue needs this month. Every day, we continue to feed, treat, and care for more stray animals, and the costs add up quickly.

But we hold on to the belief that together, we can provide what they need. No one can do everything alone, but many people doing something small can change so much for them.

Thank you for standing with our rescues.
Every help matters.

This is just one of many we rescue every single time.

Your donations matter — they help us feed, treat, and care for more stray animals. 🙏

Blessings we received yesterday, thank you so much for helping us for our rescues.

August was an incredibly difficult month for us. Donations covered only 35% of our daily needs, medical bills, and other essentials — the rest came straight from our own salaries.

We’re reaching out to lighten the load for September, so we can fully focus on our spay & neuter projects and adoption drives. Right now, we care for:
🐕 83 adult dogs + 15 puppies
🐱 40 cats

It’s also time for their regular parasitic maintenance — critical to keeping them healthy while they wait for their forever homes. We’ve chosen specific products because we’ve learned through experience: other options cost just as much but didn’t deliver the results we needed. These work, and that’s what matters most for their health.

Every contribution helps us care for them and move our mission forward. Thank you for standing with us. 🐾

Spotty.
We found him helpless in the middle of a busy road in San Fernando, Cebu — frail, elderly, sick, and abandoned. We may never know why he was left there.

He didn’t make it. His body was too tired, his age too heavy, his suffering too great. We gave him every care we could, every bit of love, every moment of peace — but some battles are too big to win.

Your pet relies on you for their entire life. Through age, through sickness, through everything. Abandonment is never the answer. They don’t get to choose when they get old or sick — but you get to choose to stay. To care. To not throw them away when they need you most.

Spotty may be gone, but his story stays — a reminder: responsibility doesn’t expire when they stop being easy to love. Be the one they can always count on — not the one who leaves them behind.

Rest softly, old boy. You were seen. You were loved. 🤍

Meet Bob 🐱

Bob was found sick and suffering, posted online hoping someone would step in. Hours passed, and no one came. So after work, we went to check ourselves. We found him, brought him home, and got him started on the care and medication he needed right away.

He’s recovering now—but he still needs ongoing treatment, meds, and proper care to get fully well. We can’t do this alone. Please help us give Bob the recovery he deserves.

Every contribution goes directly to Bob’s medical needs and care. Thank you for standing with us for him. 💛
