‼️BREAKING NEWS: Calumpit, Bulacan: Kasalukuyang Nasa Ilalim ng STATE OF CALAMITY.

LALAWIGAN NG BULACAN -- Ganap ng inanunsyo ng ating Punong Bayan Glorime "Lem" Faustino ngayon na ang buong munisipalidad ng Calumpit ay kasalukuyang nasa ilalim na ng STATE OF CALAMITY. Ang anunsyo ay ginawa matapos pirmahan ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Calumpit sa pangunguna ng ating Pangalawang Punong Bayan Zacarias Candelaria, ang Municipal Resolution #133-2023.

Ang pagdeklara ay batay sa kamakailang ulat na natanggap mula ng ating Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office at Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office na ang mga barangay na lalo na ang mga nasa tabi ng kailugan at mababang lugar ay lubog na at hindi na madaanan.

Ang mga naiulat na pinsalang naidulot sa mga agrikultural na pananim ay umaabot sa 187.5 ektarya ng palay at 1.35 ektarya ng gulay, na may kabuuang halagang P3,103,560.40, at ang pinsala sa mga pangingisda ay umaabot na sa P640,000.00.

Naitala rin ang mga pinsala sa mga pangunahing kalsada at barangay sa ilang barangay ng ating Bayan ng Calumpit.

Ayon sa opisyal na pinakabagong datos mula sa ating Pamahalaang bayan ay tinatayang 29,400 pamilya o 115,333 indibidwal ang apekatdo ng baha at hindi pa naka-evakweyt sa kanilang mga designated na lugar. Sa bilang na ito, 509 pamilya o 1,725 indibidwal kasalukuyang nananatili sa 16 evacuation site sa ating buong Munisipalidad.

Sa pagdedeklara ng estado ng kalamidad ay tiniyak ng ating lokal na pamahalaan bayan at ng buong sangguniang bayan na gagawin ang lahat ng kanilang makakaya at ilalaan ang kanilang mga resources upang mabilis na makapagresponde at magbigay ng kinakailangang tulong, relief, at rehabilitasyon sa lahat ng mga residenteng naapektuhan sa Calumpit.

With our Hermano Mayor 2023, Mr. Paddle G. Cabaluna, we are asking everyone to cooperate in the activities of our Parish so that we can make our Christian Life more flaming in the Home of Apo Juan.
Starting June 15 (Wednesday), we will start the November celebration for the birth of San Juan the Baptist and with it some activities and activities that will surely be enjoyed by our Patrons.

Despite the new cases of African Swine Fever (ASF) in different parts of the country, the local government of Calumpit in Bulacan province held its first-ever Longganisa Festival on Friday, Mar. 24, along Pulilan-Calumpit road.

The "Calumpit Longganisa Festival 2023," aims to promote and celebrate their local delicacy.

The two-day event marked the start of an annual tradition. To kick off the festival, Calumpit residents organized a 500-meter longganisa boodle fight in an attempt to break the current record held by Guinobatan, Albay, who had a 400 and 300-meter longganisa boodle fight in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
