The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is pleased to announce the launch of eSumbong, a dedicated portal integrated into our new official website designed to streamline the submission of complaints and regulatory concerns.
The eSumbong system serves as a vital tool for market surveillance and institutional integrity by streamlining the reporting of suspected counterfeit products, unlicensed establishments, and anti-corruption concerns. It empowers stakeholders with a transparent, category-specific platform to address regulatory violations and procedural grievances, ensuring a safer and more accountable marketplace. By prioritizing these high-impact reports, the FDA can optimize its enforcement efforts and provide a more responsive service to the public.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns the public and regulated establishments against individuals who falsely represent themselves as FDA officers, employees, or accredited consultants and who solicit money in exchange for the facilitation, expediting, or guarantee of FDA approvals or regulatory actions.

The FDA does not authorize any individual or private entity to collect payments or offer services on its behalf. All FDA applications and transactions are processed only through official FDA offices and platforms, in strict accordance with existing laws, rules, regulations, and the FDA Citizen’s Charter. Any transaction outside these official channels is UNAUTHORIZED and ILLEGAL.

The FDA emphasizes that regulatory decisions are and will be based solely on completeness and compliance with safety, quality, and efficacy standards.

The public is strongly encouraged to report fixers, unauthorized consultants, or any individual who solicits payments in connection with FDA transactions. Reports may be made through the Food and Drug Action Center (FDAC) via its official hotlines at (02) 8257-1957, (02) 8286-6087, (02) 8273-048, (02) 8800-4392, (02) 8273-3756, and (02) 8659-7330, or through email at [email protected] or [email protected].

Republic Act No. 7851 is a Philippine law, enacted on December 24, 1994, that declares the 24th day of September every year a Special Non-Working Holiday in Calamba, Laguna, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Speaker Jose Yulo, Sr.

JUST IN: Malacañang, in Memorandum Circular 96 issued Friday (Sept. 19, 2025), suspends work in government offices in the executive branch from 1 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 22) for the "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day."

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 326, issued in 2012, declaring the last week of September of every year as Family Week and the fourth Monday of September as "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day".

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11144, Special Non-Working Holiday sa lalawigan ng Laguna ngayong Huwebes, Hunyo 19, kaugnay ng pagdiriwang ng ika-164 Anibersaryo ng Kapanganakan ng ating Pambansang Bayani na si Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

Walang pasok sa lahat ng antas ng paaralan, tanggapan ng gobyerno, at trabaho sa mga pribadong sektor sa buong lalawigan ng Laguna.
