For every struggle, every storm, and every inner battle an individual faces, may it be a reminder of how strong they are for continuing to move forward.

Breast cancer remains one of the silent threats battled by women today. Each year, a vast majority walk around unknowing of a disease they do not ‘feel’ until it is actually late. With low screening rates in the country, reducing mortality rates is still a challenge.

This October, we walk in pink as we partake in raising awareness, bringing hope, and preventing more individuals from being taken by a disease that could have been prevented early on.

As the eye of medicine, it is our responsibility to stand in advocating for health education, especially to those in the highly susceptible group. In this movement, we also call for better healthcare systems that are made accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Breast cancer does not choose who it affects: women of all ages, teenagers, recurring cases, and even men. Set aside a day from the year to get screened, avoid waiting until it is felt. Take a moment, it can save a life.

Amidst the raging winds of the storm, stands a mountain range that serves as a natural shield for every Filipino.

𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, observed every 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 26, commemorates the Philippines longest mountain range, serving as the backbone of Luzon and stretching over 500 kilometers from Cagayan to Quezon Province.

With its great significance to life and the environment, this day serves as a reminder to raise awareness about the importance of continuously protecting and preserving the Sierra Madre. It is not merely a natural shield, but also a home to numerous species of wildlife and diverse plant life.

The Kaliwa Dam proposed project in the Sierra Madre is still in progress. Be part of the movement, promote Sierra Madre sustainability, and prevent its destruction.

Today, we honor the birth anniversary of the late Speaker 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗨𝗟𝗢 𝗦𝗥.,who dedicated years of his life to serving the nation through different government roles.

Through 𝗥𝗔 𝟳𝟴𝟱𝟭, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰 is a 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 in Calamba, honoring a son of the city whose years of service left a lasting mark on the nation.

Though years have passed and time moves on, his service to Calamba and the nation lives on.🇵🇭
