• Location of Center (10:00 AM): The center of the eye of Super Typhoon KARDING was estimated based on all available data including those from Daet and Baler Doppler Weather Radars at 175 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.0°N, 123.3°E)

• Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 240 km/h, and central pressure of 920 hPa

• Present Movement: Westward at 20 km/h

• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 290 km from the center

Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 985 hPa

Present Movement: West Southwestward at 25 km/h

Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong to storm-force winds extend outwards up to 250 km from the center

• Due to the Southwest Monsoon partly influenced by KARDING, occasional rains are also possible beginning today or tomorrow over most of Southern Luzon and Visayas, especially over their western sections. As such, the issuance of Weather Advisory for Southwest Monsoon is not ruled out.

Ilan sa mga nakakapinsalang "grasses" o damong may buko na kailangan puksain agad sa palayan:

🌿Telebisyon o Echinochloa crus-gali (L.) Beauv.
🌿Trigo-trigohan o Ischaemum rugosum Salisb.
🌿Palay maya o Leptochloa chinensis L.

Ang "grasses" ay mahaba at makitid ang mga dahon, parallel ang mga ugat ng dahon, at mayroong lapak na nakabalot sa puno.

✅ Para maiwasan ang mga damo, siguraduhing nahanda ng mabuti ang lupa, dekalidad na binhi ang ginamit, at panatiling malinis ang palayan.

✅ Magpatubig 3-4 araw matapos maglipat tanim na may taas na 2-3 cm; at 7-10 araw matapos magsabog-tanim na may taas na 3-5 cm.

The majority are aware of how weather significantly affects the agriculture sector. Indeed, for crops to thrive, they require the fundamentals of moisture, warmth, and sunlight. What is less clear, however, is how a farmer's decision can be influenced by the specifics of weather information, enabling them to plan well, cut expenses, and increase yields as a result.

While farmers must make different day-to-day decisions related to weather conditions, there are four primary areas of farming that are fundamentally affected impacted by weather:

It takes the right combination of moisture, light, and temperature for crops to grow or produce. Farmers can better understand and follow the growth status/stage to make educated decisions by having access to detailed and accurate historical, real-time, and forecast weather information. With this information at hand, farmers can make important and potentially expensive choices like whether, when, and how much to irrigate.

⛈️ 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘
Making decisions on when, how much, and in what form to apply fertilizer is just one of the many choices that farmers must make. The proper application of fertilizer can be ensured by using weather forecasts.

Certain weather patterns favor the establishment and spread of pests and illnesses, which can ruin crops. When incorporating forecast information into pest and disease modeling, it might be easier to decide whether and when to use pest or disease management.
