NORSU Introduces New Student Manual to Promote Student Rights and Responsibilities
Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) has introduced its new Student Manual, officially adopted through BOR Resolution No. 27, Series of 2026, as a guide for students in understanding their rights, responsibilities, policies, rules, and privileges within the university.
The initiative, promoted by the Student Affairs and Services โ NORSU Main Campus I & II, encourages students to become more informed and responsible members of the NORSU community.
The Student Manual serves as more than just a handbook. It provides students with important information that can help them understand university policies, uphold proper conduct, and exercise their rights and responsibilities as NORSUnians.
Students are encouraged to access the manual conveniently by scanning the QR code provided in the official announcement. This allows the manual to be accessed anytime and anywhere.
With the theme โOur Pride. Our Hope. Our Future,โ NORSU emphasizes the importance of building a university community grounded in respect, responsibility, accountability, and informed student leadership.
The Student Affairs and Services office reminds all students to โBe informed. Be responsible. Be a NORSUnian who knows the rules and upholds the values of the University.โ
Through the new Student Manual, NORSU continues to strengthen student awareness and promote a campus culture where every student understands not only their rights, but also the responsibilities that come with being part of the university community.
