Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, the BFP Baras Fire Station, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, conducted the Fire Truck and Equipment Day.

The activity focused on the inspection, cleaning, testing, and maintenance of the fire truck, ambulance, firefighting tools, and other essential equipment to ensure their readiness, reliability, and operational efficiency during emergency response and firefighting operations.

Through regular maintenance and equipment checks, BFP Baras Fire Station continues to uphold its commitment to maintaining a high level of preparedness and providing prompt, efficient, and reliable emergency services to the community.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, the BFP Baras Fire Station, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, participated in the 4th Quarter Regular Meeting of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), together with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and various partner agencies.

The meeting served as a venue for coordination, information sharing, and discussion of disaster preparedness, response, and risk reduction strategies to further strengthen the municipality’s readiness and resilience in times of emergencies and disasters.

BFP Baras Fire Station continues to work hand in hand with the MDRRMO and partner agencies in promoting a coordinated, prepared, and resilient community.

𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, the BFP Baras Fire Station, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩. 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, conducted sports and physical wellness activities for its personnel.

The activity aimed to promote physical fitness, active living, and overall well-being among personnel through recreational exercise. Playing badminton provided personnel with an opportunity to stay physically active while also promoting camaraderie, teamwork, sportsmanship, and stress reduction.

The activity further encouraged personnel to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, contributing to their physical readiness and preparedness in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as public safety officers.

The activity aimed to enhance the awareness of young learners and ECCD personnel on basic fire prevention and safety practices. The lecture focused on identifying common fire hazards, observing proper fire safety measures, responding appropriately during fire emergencies, and understanding the importance of immediately reporting fire incidents to the proper authorities.

Through this activity, the BFP Baras Fire Station continues to promote fire safety awareness and preparedness among children and the community, emphasizing that fire prevention education should begin at an early age.

The activity was undertaken to assess the proper wearing of prescribed uniforms, insignias, and other required personal appearance standards, while reinforcing discipline, uniformity, and professionalism among personnel.

The Ranks Inspection likewise serves as part of the station’s continuing efforts to maintain a high standard of discipline, readiness, and professionalism in the performance of duties and responsibilities as public servants.

During the session, 𝑭𝑶𝟏 𝑺𝒉𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑺 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒂, Chief, Administrative Section, discussed the Importance of Time Reporting During Response. The discussion emphasized the importance of accurate and timely time reporting to ensure proper documentation, personnel accountability, and efficient monitoring of emergency response operations.
