A few years ago, someone close to me was diagnosed with cancer.

Before that nag kuwento ako sa kanya ng Insurance.

Unfortunately after 5 years, she regret that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Good part my HMO siyang nagamit. She thought "Okay na" But in just a few sessions, na max out agad.

The sad part, is I can no longer make kwento pa to her. Kasi end na ang story.

And that’s when the bills started piling up.

Matagal na pong may 20% tax ang INTEREST sa mga short term deposits natin sa mga bangko. (See photo below of my 2022 bankbook). And take note na hindi ang savings natin ang may tax, kung hindi ang interest income o kinita ng ating savings account.

Kinita ng Savings P 15.56 x 20% = P3.11 (tax)

Ang pagbabago ngayon ay subject na rin sa 20% ang INTEREST o kinita ng mga long term deposits. Dati kasi ay wala sila nito.

Ginawa nilang 20% ang lahat - short and long term deposits para pantay pantay na daw.

Insured or NOT to insured?

Whether you have insurance or not, it doesn't change the fact that healthcare in the Philippines is expensive. Better prepare ahead than regret.

Wishing everyone on my birthday more secure lives

As a small business owner isa sa pinaglalaanan ko every month is yong pagbabayad ko ng aking insurance. Para sa akin ito na yong pa bonus ko sa sarili ko kasi ayaw ko pagdating ng araw na lahat ng pinaghirapan ko ay mapupunta sa wala dahil naubos sa pagbabayad ng hospital bills.. Hindi ko to tinuturing na expenses bagkus investment ko to para sa sarili ko at sa family ko na in the near future para hindi problema at utang yong ipapamana ko sa kanila. Hindi ako nag popromote dito ng insurance company pero ito lang yong swak na insurance for my needs.. Sabi nga nila prepare for the worst kasi mas mabuti na yong handa, hindi kasi natin maaappreciate yan sa ngayon pero pasasalamatan mo yong sarili mo pag dating ng panahon. 😉
