•The Quiet Check-Ins: The dad doing a final walk-through of the hall, silently making sure the AC is cold enough and the lights are just right for his family.
•The Anchors: The dad holding his daughter’s shaking hand right before the grand ballroom doors slide open, whispering something that makes her laugh and forget her nerves.
•The Sentinels: The dad sitting at the back table near the end of the night, tired but smiling, just watching the people he loves dance.
Fathers don’t just show up for the big moments; they build the foundation that makes those moments possible. They are the logistics, the heavy lifting, and the steady ground.
