Amberley at Riccarton today for the twilight meeting.

Track is a heavy 8 but sunny 🌞

Race 4 M 1200m Browns way, aboard is Bretty Murray, for his first start, winning his last trial just want to see him get around do everything right and hit the line is all we can ask for.

Race 7 65 1400m Trader Inn, aboard is Kendra Bakker, hasn't had a run since late December. So this should give him a blow out and clean him up nicely for his next start. But getting to the line and showing us he can boogie is all we can ask.

Race 8 65 1600m Flying dubawi, aboard is Bretty Murray, fingers crossed he gets the chance to hit the line from his average draw.

Results from Wingatui

Abit Sassy was up in distance today and was only 3.5L away for 9th which is very good coming off the win in her previous start! Sassy pulled up great and recovered well after the race.

Peachy Keen ended up 12th but only 5.2L away with not much luck with no gaps opening up for him, but he recovered quickly. He also won best presented today, he did look super!

Both horses home and happy out in the paddock.

Wingatui Races tomorrow for their feature day!

Track is a soft 7 at present.

Race 4 65 1600m Abit Sassy 💃 drawn in the carpark at barrier 15 hopefully she can put her best hoof forward after her impressive win with Abdul Mohd Najib at wingatui last start.

Race 9 WFA Mile with Peachy Keen 🍑 drawn 13 another average draw will come into 12 with 1 scratching, stepping up with some very good company and Yogesh Atchamah taking the ride back on him.

We also have Trader Inn and Koyama on the ballot, but unlikely to get a start on such a big day.
