Yay!! This epic project is complete and featured in the Timaru Herald yesterday We are thrilled with this amazing space. Hugest thanks again to all of you who assisted us to get it over the line 😻 The businesses who donated materials have been listed below (but some wanted to remain anonymous).

Pretty exciting day today!

I’ve just completed a 33 hour marathon bogging and sanding and priming and bogging and sanding and priming and bogging some more! It’s all ready for two coats of paint tomorrow morning. Tonight I’ll be dreaming of bogging and sanding. And resting my numb fingertip … but for now 💤

We needed to fix up a couple of things to pass our final inspection. So I (Liz) laid some vinyl in front of the kitchenette and then created a handrail for the ourside entrance (did you know you don’t need a rail with two steps, but you do with three??!). Graham was hunting, so I found some brackets and pipe and set about with the angle grinder.

Feeling pretty pleased! 😁

Mr Inspector will also be pleased. All inspections now signed off. Code of Compliane is the last piece of paperwork completed 👍

The awesome team from containers popped by with a forklift to relocate the clothing hut closer to the new offices. We also gave it a lick of paint!
