We currently provide programmes to around 33 children and adults with disabilities in the South Canterbury region.
RDA provides interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs, enabling them to have meaningful participation in, and contribution to, their community. The Timaru Group Riding for the Disabled is a voluntary, not for profit organisation which provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy the

Today Rach Harrison and Ali Farren from the Timaru group RDA has attended national conference in Wellington.

We are grateful to have had a visit from Sam today, who has kindly donated paint, enabling us to give our pony poles a fresh coat of paint in the spring, which our riders will use in class when the weather improves. We would like to express our appreciation to Sam for his generosity.
