Fosters vs Feisst Group - Round 3! ⚽

Cold, rain and wind weren't enough to keep the supporters away from Galloway Park on Monday night, as the third annual showdown delivered plenty of banter, laughs and a hard-fought game.

Feisst came away with a 4–2 win, keeping the trophy (and bragging rights) for another year. 🫣

From our Captain Zac Moeke: “Proud of our team's efforts, not willing to back down right to the final whistle.”

The trophy might be staying with Feisst for now... but we're already planning the comeback. 🏆

Thanks to Claudelands Rovers Sports Club for hosting us again.

Congratulations Roque Alfanta, our latest Nailed It Award winner! 🔨✨

Awarded by the Fosters People & Culture Group, the monthly 'Nailed It' Award is given to someone who has clearly demonstrated one, or all, of our Make It Principles. All nominations are made by Fosters staff!

From the nomination: "Not only is he a prized workhorse, Roque embodies Fosters 'make it' principals." He demonstrated our 'make it happen' and 'make it a success' principles through his passion, efficiency and dedication towards our project deadlines. Well done Roque! 🙌

We are immensely proud to celebrate Matt Strawbridge - Waikato Master Builders
CARTERS Apprentice of the Year 2026! 🏆🛠

The judges praised his technical knowledge, professionalism, excellent time management, and strong focus on health and safety, describing him as a "standout apprentice and a highly deserving regional winner."

Congratulations, Matt! We can't wait to cheer you on at Nationals 🎉

It's the people behind the projects who make us successful!

We took advantage of Friday's winter sunshine to celebrate with the teams behind our SIX NZ Commercial Project Awards wins 🏆✨

They each received a bottle of bubbles and a certificate - a small thank you from Fosters.

While we're proud of the awards, we're even prouder of the people behind them. Well done, everyone! 🥂

Congratulations to Jack Walker, Xavier Scarlett, and Matt Strawbridge, who impressed the judges at the practical stage of the regional Master Builders Apprentice of the Year competition - and are in the top 10 to make it through to the next round! 🎉

Following a practical challenge that saw 13 Waikato apprentices given 2.5 hours to build a storage box using only selected tools, our three apprentices now progress to the next stage: formal interviews and site visits.

The regional winner will be announced at the end of August; that person will then represent the Waikato at Nationals towards the end of the year.

Best of luck for the next round, Jack, Xavier and Matt! Whatever happens, we are already proud to have you representing Fosters 💪🤩

Huge congratulations to Fosters Apprentice Natasha Bach, one of just six New Zealand recipients of the 2026 Bunnings Warehouse Trade Women in Apprenticeships Award! 🎉

With more than 1,500 entries across New Zealand and Australia each year, this is an incredible achievement!

At just 21, Natasha is balancing an apprenticeship, home ownership, and raising her 10-month-old son. From Fosters Apprentice of the Year in 2023 to national recognition in 2026, her journey is truly inspirational.

We're incredibly proud of you, Natasha. 🤩
