We took advantage of Friday's winter sunshine to celebrate with the teams behind our SIX NZ Commercial Project Awards wins 🏆✨

They each received a bottle of bubbles and a certificate - a small thank you from Fosters.

While we're proud of the awards, we're even prouder of the people behind them. Well done, everyone! 🥂

Congratulations to Jack Walker, Xavier Scarlett, and Matt Strawbridge, who impressed the judges at the practical stage of the regional Master Builders Apprentice of the Year competition - and are in the top 10 to make it through to the next round! 🎉

Following a practical challenge that saw 13 Waikato apprentices given 2.5 hours to build a storage box using only selected tools, our three apprentices now progress to the next stage: formal interviews and site visits.

The regional winner will be announced at the end of August; that person will then represent the Waikato at Nationals towards the end of the year.

Best of luck for the next round, Jack, Xavier and Matt! Whatever happens, we are already proud to have you representing Fosters 💪🤩

Huge congratulations to Fosters Apprentice Natasha Bach, one of just six New Zealand recipients of the 2026 Bunnings Warehouse Trade Women in Apprenticeships Award! 🎉

With more than 1,500 entries across New Zealand and Australia each year, this is an incredible achievement!

At just 21, Natasha is balancing an apprenticeship, home ownership, and raising her 10-month-old son. From Fosters Apprentice of the Year in 2023 to national recognition in 2026, her journey is truly inspirational.

We're incredibly proud of you, Natasha. 🤩

Carpenters in the Bay of Plenty, we need you! 🔨🤩

In a nutshell, we're looking for genuine team players with strong technical carpentry skills, who:
✅take pride in quality finishes
✅are practical problem solvers with can-do attitudes
✅are safety-focused with a keen eye for detail
✅have 2-5 years commercial construction experience...
