We are very excited to be hosting two large events between July 31st-August 3rd.

Last year we welcomed over 500 competitors across these 2 events plus their families!

First up we have the 2026 Waipa and South Waikato Schools Gym Festival for schools in Waipa, South Waikato, Waitomo and Otorohanga a qualifier for the Regional event being hosted by Hamilton City Gymnastics - this event is super fun and is open to school age children from year 2-10.

This event is closely followed by our 2026 Recreational Gymnastics Competition, we will be welcoming gymnasts and clubs from the Midlands Region and wider. This is such an amazing opportunity for our club to be able to offer an event of this size to our wider gymnastics community. We expect this will also add a little boost to our nearby businesses.

We need help from sponsors to ensure this event is a success, every sponsor will receive acknowledgement and advertising on the day of the competition, as well as social media tagging before and after the event. We also have larger and ongoing sponsorship opportunities for those that are interested.

Our main items to be funded, sponsored or donated are, grandstand hireage, koha for judges, ribbons, certificates, spot prizes and raffle items.

⭐️⭐️ OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR ⭐️⭐️

As our club is growing, we are now looking for a permanent part time Office Administrator to take over the day to day admin tasks that are crucial to the operations of our club.

A large part of this role can be done remotely however, you will need some presence at both of our venues in Te Awamutu and Cambridge - to know our coaches, members, update noticeboards and contribute towards building our club community.
