Cladding Plus delivers complete exterior building solutions. Your local Tauranga recladding specialists. Free assessment and honest quote.
From recladding and new joinery to eaves, and decking, our licensed builders handle it all — quality workmanship, fully compliant and built to last. At Cladding Plus Tauranga we live and work right here in the Bay of Plenty, so we know exactly how coastal weather, salty air and 1990s monolithic (plaster) homes lead to weathertightness and leaky home problems. From Mount Maunganui to Papamoa, Pyes Pa to Te Puke, local homeowners trust us to reclad their homes and protect them for the long haul. We handle full recladding, weathertight repairs and quality workmanship you can rely on. We're not a national franchise or out-of-town builder — we're your neighbours, and most of our projects come from word of mouth and referrals. When you see a reclad going up in Tauranga, chances are it's one of ours.

A good reclad starts well before the first piece of cladding comes off. 🏠
Here we’re onsite discussing the existing construction, checking the details and working through the best options for the home.
Every property is different, which is why we take the time to understand the building, identify potential problem areas and talk homeowners through the recladding process before work begins.
At Cladding Plus, we specialise in recladding and water-damaged homes throughout Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and the Bay of Plenty.

Locals working for locals. 🏠
For over 25 years, Cladding Plus has been working across the Bay of Plenty, specialising in recladding and weathertightness remediation.
We’re a local team of Licensed Building Practitioners, with strong roots in the area — several of us even went to Mount Maunganui College together.
We know the local homes, the coastal conditions, and the challenges that come with older cladding systems. That local knowledge, combined with decades of hands-on experience, goes into every project we undertake.
“Locals working for locals” isn’t just a motto — it’s how we do business.

🌊 Coastal living comes with coastal conditions.
Living in Mount Maunganui, Papamoa or along the Bay of Plenty coastline means your home is constantly exposed to salt air, high UV and driving rain.
Over time, these conditions can be tough on exterior cladding — making the right cladding system and correct installation especially important.
At Cladding Plus, we specialise in recladding coastal homes, helping homeowners replace ageing or problematic cladding with modern, durable systems designed for New Zealand conditions.

Water Damage Repair → Full Reclad 🏠
What starts behind the cladding can sometimes become a much bigger job once everything is opened up.
On this project, removing the existing cladding exposed significant water-damaged framing. Our team carried out the necessary remediation, replacing damaged timber and rebuilding the affected areas before installing the new cavity system and cladding.
The result — a dry, sound and great-looking home, rebuilt properly for the years ahead.
At Cladding Plus, we specialise in recladding and water-damage remediation throughout Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.
