Aaaaaaaand we're back. After a huge weekend away at the indoor nationals MRC is back racing this Sunday, the forcast is also looking mega, a warm dry day on Saturday and a dry day for Sunday! We should have grip!

With that said im looking forward to fun race day.....see you there!

Mainland Model Racers August Sunday meeting 23/8/26

Hi all!

Thank you all for commenting on the previous post as to what to do for August. I prefer to make decisions that include your input as its you the racers who we exist for!

So with that, the August Saturday meeting is up on the NZRCA site. Unfortunately it looks like its going to be cold and damp so pack those silver compound tyres in your kit bag!

Righto team, its nearly August which unfortunately is a bit of a problem month.

I cant run the first Saturday of this month due to other commitments and the third Sunday of the month is the Indoor nationals which im going to.

So the question is what do you, the racers, want to do?

Change to 2nd Saturday, 4th sunday?
Just one meeting on either the 2nd or 4th weekend of August?
Or, have a break and skip August, then get back into is in September?

The choice is yours, comment below, the most with the same choice, sets the plan....

After a bit of a quiet month from me and MRC along with the weather , this coming Sunday is race day!

The forcast is looking good, the track is drying out and with any luck Sunday should make for an awesome days racing!

Mainland Model Racers July sunday race meeting 19/7/26

Good Evening all,

So this weekend I was going to be getting help from Gary to run the Sunday race as I've been in for a wee op.

Anyhow here in Rolleston its tipping it down and forcast to do the same through tomorrow morning so both myself and Gary feel its better to cancel tomorrow (two in a row, sorry!). If i wasn't forcast to continue in the morning id run on wet astro but its no good when its actually raining and being out there on the stand.......

Ill put another event up for sunday the 28th of June to try again! I hope the weather plays ball and we all get some racing in!

Evening all, unfortunately im cancelling tomorrow's meeting, 6/6/26. Unfortunately its tipping it down now and forcast to do the same in the morning! Although we can run on wet astro, its not much fun or good for your car.

The june Sunday meeting is live however...... hopefully we get back to the good weather weve been having.....

Gates open at 9.30 due to winter darkness and dampness.

Bring you silver mezzo tyres as grip will probably be low.
