Rural Direct is seeking a cleaner/yard person for our Papakura manufacturing site. We are flexible with hours and days with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced cleaner that is
• reliable

The right candidate will need to be able to
• work unsupervised on their own
• have an eye for detail
• be willing to get your hands dirty
• preferably have previous
commercial cleaning experience
Tasks will include
• vacuuming
• dry and wet mopping
• sweeping
• rubbish collection
• dishes
• staff room cleaning
• restocking of consumables
• office cleaning
• cleaning of surfaces and edges
• dusting
• cleaning of walls, doors and glass
• cleaning of restrooms
Some moderate lifting may be required as well as bending, reaching and cleaning stairs, so you must be physically fit and healthy.

Extrusion Operator/Leading Hand
We are a Papakura based plastic extrusion company seeking operators for our Monday - Friday shift work.
If job security and culture of your work place matters to you, this is the place to work. RD Manufacturing makes PE pipe and drainage products for mainly the farming and forestry industries. The company has modern computer-controlled extrusion machinery, some the only of their type in New Zealand.
We are seeking operators who have experience within the manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will secure a permanent position and a competitive pay rate. The shift pattern is 2 weeks morning 7.30am to 3.30pm, 2 weeks afternoon 3.30pm to 11.30pm
What we need from you
• Minimum of 1-3 years working as a machine operator – ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in plastic extrusion or similar would be a bonus
• Current Class 1 Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Sound knowledge of basic engineering principles
• Good level of fitness
• Right to live and work in New Zealand

Seeking a versatile, strong and reliable person to assist our storeperson with running day to day operations.
We are a Papakura based plastic extrusion company seeking a strong and reliable person to help our storeperson with the loading of trucks and the delivery of products to our mainly rural customers. The job is approximately 40% stores and 60% driving.
The position is permanent hours 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required.
Duties include:
- Loading trucks with our product
- Local deliveries
- Assembling the orders prior to loading
- Assisting our senior storeman loading and unloading trucks
- Arranging product in the yard
Requirements:
- Reliable
- Positive attitude
- Ability to pick from a worksheet and accurately confirm quantities
- Clean Class 1 and 2 licences
- Forklift licence
- Physically strong
- Site safety awareness
